Name: Xianghua Chai

Appearance: Xianghua is very short, standing about 5'0". She has tanned skin and short brown hair, as well as brown eyes. She normally wears her hair in a half ponytail, held back by a blue and gold head piece that have ribbons hanging off the back. She lets two chunks of hair hang on each side of her face, bound with blue/green holders to keep from getting away. She wears clothes that are very reminiscent of her Chinese culture. She is often seen wear a pink Chinese shirt along with blue/green pants. She wears pink armbands that are held up with gold metal rings that wrap around her arm. She wears pink and blue slip-on shoes for comfortability and easy movement.

Personality: Xianghua is very outgoing and determined. She is not afraid to show any emotion, but also knows how to keep herself together. It's hard for Xianghua to give up. She struggled and fights her way to completion, until she gets what she wants. She does not like to let others fight for her, if she can help it. Xianghua can be very flirty and is sometimes described as "cute." She acts much younger than she is, at times, and has a habit of giggling and making jokes. She's well known for making jokes or teases and then shouting out with laughter, "Just Kidding!!"
Although Xianghua has a child-like side to her, she can be very mature and strong. She has dealt with loss and death and knows the hardships of life. Xianghua likes to help others, but only those who deserve it.

Weaknesses: Very stubborn and can be really immature. She can also talk your ear off and be real mean when she wants to be. Xianghua has a tendancy to pick on people a little too much sometimes. Very impatient. She can't stand being kept waiting. Sometimes, a little too vain too. She doesn't think before she leaps sometimes, she tends to do things on impulse.

History: Xianghua was born to two warriors of China named Xiangfei and Xiuquang. Xiangfei and Xiuquang had been secret lovers at the Temple. There love was unknown until the birth of their first daughter, Xianglian. Xianglian was taken from them on her second birthday and Xiangfei was stricken with grief, she fled the temple and Xiuquang did not follow. Before Xiangfei left the temple, she had help having the Temples treasured sword, the Krita-Yuga, snuck to her. Xiangfei was pregnant with her second child as she was leaving, she called her Xianghua. Xiangfei and Xianghua hid with the Chai family, until Xiuqang was exiled from the temple and hunted down the Chai family. The Chai family asked him to leave Xiangfei and Xianghua alone.
Up until Xianghua was ten, her mother taught her how to use the Krita-Yuga, although it was disguised as a common sword, but then Xiangfei died. Xianghua trained much harder after her mothers death. Xianghua became a member of the Imperial Guard at the age of sixteen. On her journey she met up with two men, Kilik and Maxi. They informed her about the Soul Edge, an evil sword that was being used for many murders and destruction. Xianghua immediatly joined them and the three journeyed to Ostrheinsburg Castle, where Nightmare; the wielder of the Soul Edge, was rumoured to be. Xianghua realized she had the hero's sword as some point in her journey. The three defeated the evil in the castle, but the Soul Calibur was lost as well as their friend, Maxi [or so she thinks]. After the defeat, a man that Xianghua did not know presented her with an unnamed sword. When it was found out taht Xianghua had ruined the special sword, she was stripped of her rank. Soon after, rumours about the Soul Edge rose again. Xianghua was certain she had finished it, but evidence proved her wrong. Pieces of the Soul Edge were scattered around. Xianghua decided to try and find them and destroy them. She reunited with Kilik and the two journeyed for these fragments. On their journey they came across a man with a large scythe, whom was determined to defeat anyone who wanted to rid the world of the Soul Edge. The man injured Kilik badly, so Xianghua took him to their Edge Master's home. While Kilik recovered, Xianghua trained harder and stronger than ever. When Kilik was healed, the two left again for another journey. But, on their journey, something happened. While sleeping in a town one night, Xianghua awoke somewhere else. Somewhere new. Alarmed, she drew her sword...
